Wind Suit

Oli and I made a wind suit. We were told to promote nature in the brief and the tutor warned up that it is hard to promote something you can not see so what did oli and I choose. Of course something you can not see. But it looks pretty good now.

The suit really works and you can feel the wind when standing still or moving about. We even managed to sneak into a wind tunnel as part of our 'research'. HA

Typographic waste

I working with Ness Wright on a type project based on the Aesthetic of waste. We spent the two weeks crushing, melting and shredding letters, which are threes ways that our waste is disposed of. For the project we had to come up with 2 outcomes we chose to make some prints and then make an animation.

We made three full alphabets of each of the processes but we really liked the abstract quality some of the letters had when they were taken away from there full alphabets.

Like no other biscuit

An advertising brief set for a small workshop we did. We had to find a biscuit and find its best selling point. Liv Siddall and I made this video, we were pretty scared when we had to show them and we pretended it was not our but I think our tutor kind of liked it.

Stolen

Our class put on a photography show at the Arden gallery in Petwork.



The day was great and the work was amazing, unfortunately I didnt make the cut but I did find this sign instead.

The birds at the Barbican

I went to the Barbican to see Céleste Boursier-Mougenot work where birds fly around and land on instruments. The birds are so tame and beautiful. The highlight when three birds started nestling in my bag.

Brighton

went to Brighton to film for our doritos advert. It was the first warm day and it was great. Made liv run in the sea and it was cold.

Theres nothing more than I like then a demanding dinosaur. I wish I had taco right now. I cant remember who did this drawing. sorry. I just like it

Audit

For a self initiated project i decided to audit my life. IT WAS SO LONG and hard. I thought I was quite organised but when you have to account for what you do every 15 mins i realised that im not. Ha. This is the end result. I think its ok but i might rework it at a later stage. Each letter is compiled of squares which add up to the average you should have for that day. The squares are then either full colour, outlined or a lighter shade to represent a used minute, a minute under average and a minute over average so you can see how I compare to different age groups.

Love Lost - Temper Trap

I think this video is so good. I had to watch it over and over again so I could watch each of the character individually. My fave is the smallest boy he is just so perfect. How do they time the puddles so perfectly.

World Record Attempt

A one day brief where we had to break a world record or create a new one. We decided to make a keypad orchestra with 80 people participating. Theses are the scores that we created to help everyone play along.

San Fran

Went to San Francisco on a uni trip and here is a select few of the photos.




Continuing with my love of food, a found some weird and wonderful mushrooms in the farmers market in San Fran. I even tried a mushroom macaroon. It was weird.



Golden Gate






The golden lady is bigger and better than you can imagine. Even going on it a second time was intense. We saw hundreds of motorcyclists and a eagle. Basically the best bridge ever.

Columbia Road

Had a day out to Columbia Road at the start of the year. Its a beautiful flower market open on sundays, with quaint shops in east london. It is worth a look and just down the road there is Hackney city farm and then onto broadway market for a real little treat.

Scotland

I went to Scotland in january to work on a ycn brief but whilst I was there took some photos. These two are my favourite.
